Today was a great day! Several of the students wished me a feliz cumpleaños as they boarded the bus this morning. Some even brought me gifts. It was so sweet.
We are almost caught up with our lessons. We worked on pronouns for almost an hour. I hope they remember them tomorrow. We played games, we used our bodies, we shouted. We also played a numbers game I call Ole instead of the game in the original lesson plan. I love Ole. It´s a counting game that also requires them to know their basic multiplication tables.
My alarm clock goes off much too early (5:00am) to catch the bus by 6:00. I need to catch some zzzz´s for our last day of the first week of JUMPSTART!
