Good morning! We are getting closer and closer to launching JumpStart Sarapiqui. I'm going to Puerto Viejo today to send the materials on to Finca 6 so I can set up the classroom tomorrow. Being a seasoned teacher does not mean that I don't have those first day of school nerves and nightmares in the leading up to the first day of class.
I'll spend most of the day tomorrow setting up the classroom and getting ready for the first day. I must admit that I am really nervous because this is my first time teaching a camp like this. I'm used to teaching Spanish to middle school and high school students. I'll be exhausted the first two days, then I'll relax and get into the groove. I'm excited and hope that the students and parents are excited as well.
